Big Bend Linocut
Seeing what's happening to Big Bend breaks my heart.
Linocut Print hand pulled and carved by me. This print got a little crooked.

He painted this for my son's 17th birthday that is coming up. I'm obsessed with it!
This series has completely taken over my life and my art.
I've had multiple people ask me why I haven't carved a Desperado Club design and honestly, there are just so many good ones out there already. I finally relented and wanted to go for a more "Vegas" vibe. What started out as me looking at vintage casino signs led to vintage casino matchbooks and fell in love which led to this design.
I kinda want to draw it digitally now so I can make some matchbooks for myself 😂
Linocut block print of Samantha. I didn't really draw her hair so it was definitely freehanded half way through cause I wasn't going to start over. Pretty happy with it!
New linocut print. This test print came out a lil messy but I like it overall. Being from TX, I couldn't resist.
Both design are linocut, hand pulled by me
At the last DCC pub crawl, I handed out some illustrated DCC artist trading cards and they were a huge hit. I didn't bring nearly enough! This time I will have some hand drawn ones, but I decided to carve some tiny Crawl inspired lino blocks as well to give me the ability to pass more out. I'll also be equipped with some bookmarks as well (2nd photo).
I'm also open to any ideas that I could make super small to increase the loot options for folks. My favorite so far is the tiny Big Shot truck.
Looking forward to seeing my fellow crawlers on August 1st!
Had a little bit of time for carving today so decided to bust out some more DCC art. Gonna give a copy this one to my dad I think for Father's Day and make a shirt for myself.
Decided to do a little carving today since my carpal tunnel was behaving itself in celebration that my brother just finished book 1. He loves it and plans on reading the rest now.
My step dad painted this years ago when he was getting his masters in fine arts. He was pissed he was still having to do human body work so he painted a foot as big on as big of a canvas that would fit in his vehicle to get to school.
It's lived in my dad's house for forever and I've been trying to get it to my house since my step dad died last year. It's large so not an easy feat haha! (Roughly 5x4 feet)
Now that I'm obsessed with DCC, I wanted it even more because not only will I smile at my step dad every time I see it, I also will get to think of my fave book series. My dad rented a van to get it to me and I'm so so so happy to have it hanging right above my bed.
