I am wondering if anyone could point me to an article or interview where a game designer or creator openly talkes about the cost of components (I know cost constantly change in this economy). I'd really like to understand if there is a cost savings between cardboard standees, acrylic standees, and minis.

I've always preferred standees based on the assumption that game boxes will be more compact for storage purposes.

I got excited when I saw Undaunted Battle of Britain (BoB) for sale locally for $20. Apparently it didn't click in my brain that I was actually looking for Undaunted North Africa (I have Normandy and Reinforcements boxes).

Is there a way to play BoB solo. I was thinking I could use the Reinforcements bot for initiative, then play each hand of cards the best I can?
