Sometimes just going out to chill is great idea

Love this bike & it's diversity. Touring, camping, trail rides, or just ripping it down the freeway. Currently spending a couple days in Icelandic state park ND

2wdw ecu flash

Anyone in the sub do an ecu flash? How do you like it? Any issues or concerns? I recently payed & still have to send mine in, a little nervous. Mostly about it getting lost in the mail. I have a full exhaust on the way & a k&n air filter to put in. I've heard all their claims, watched their videos. Interested in hearing from the community and the ppl who've done it. Thanks

Ex-wife sues for cut in compensation given to a man for wrongful conviction

In 1982, Steven Phillips was a young roofer in Dallas, Texas. He was married to Traci Tucker, who was pregnant with their child. Then his life collapsed around him.

That spring, a masked man with a gun had terrorized at least 60 women across Dallas, carrying out a string of violent attacks. Witnesses described piercing blue eyes. Police arrested Phillips. Never mind that he had green eyes and an alibi. A victim identified him in court. He was convicted and sentenced to 30 years. Before a third trial could begin, facing the possibility of decades more, he pleaded guilty to five additional charges he also maintained he was innocent of.

Tucker, pregnant and alone, tried to hold things together. She stayed married to him for ten years while he was inside. Phillips, growing distant from years in prison, eventually asked her to move on. She filed for divorce in 1992.

He spent another 15 years inside before being granted parole in 2007. A year later, DNA evidence cleared him completely. The real perpetrator, a man linked to at least 16 other violent crimes, was identified instead.

Texas' Tim Cole Act entitled Phillips to nearly $6 million in total compensation, a lump sum of over $2 million plus a lifetime monthly annuity, along with healthcare and education benefits.

Then Tucker sued him.

Her argument was that some of the compensation covered the years they were still married, qualifying as community property under Texas law. A lower court agreed and awarded her around $150,000 including legal fees.

Phillips was furious. "To make a claim on those years I spent in prison," he said, "is really freaking outrageous."

In 2014, a Texas appeals court reversed the ruling. The compensation was based solely on years of wrongful imprisonment, not lost wages or economic harm, and therefore was not community property. Tucker was entitled to nothing.

Finished my vmx tubeless rim install

This was the final addition to all my plans for my bike.

Previous projects;

veridian cruise control

Heated grips

12v socket

Sw motech tail bag

OEM side bags made by sw motech

Issotta prostatic comfort seat

Issotta tall windscreen

Locking tank bag

40mm bar risers

XL foot pegs

Rubberdust graphics

With the wheels, I'm finally done! Not really interested in anything else.

I invested so much in this bike to make it everything I want. To me, the transalp is the perfect bike, just missing a few things. I'd rather build up a transalp than buy the Africa twin.

VMX tubeless rims

Alright, this might be a long shot, but I need help!

Got this rear rim & tire installed, no "extra" parts. Everything went together the way it should. *But* when I start to tighten the axle, the brakes lock up on the disc. Idk if i need spacer washers or what, but everything lines up properly & spins freely until I start to tighten the axle. Hopefully someone can help!!

Rubberdust decals completed!

The honda medallion domed decals were separate. Seems like only the "premium" bikes get those from honda, like the Africa twin or goldwing. So I added those too 😆

Getting ready to do the rubberdust decal set. Wish me luck!

Don't ask "why", yes I like it stock too. But just trying to make it "mine" & this particular set stands out for me. Most ppl go for the red white & blue. Will make another post once done 😀
