New to me 2012 prius

I read up on the 3rd gen and was familiar with the issues. I went to look at a 2012 with 220k. Paid $3500, and no codes popped up (Minus some small accessory codes). Oil looked fine, oil cap looked fine.

Started it and got a short "Death rattle" (1 or 2 seconds) then everything was normal.

Did an oil change and oil looked burnt, but no obvious coolant, but I noticed the guy had about 5.5-6 qts in it. I fixed that and haven't had a death rattle since.

I did an exhaust gas test from the reservoir and I got a positive. It seems like a small leak.

How long do I have? Do I let it ride until the death rattle comes back?

The wife and I have inadvertently started to collect old oil paintings of ships.

Can anyone help us identify the type of ships here so we can better ask antique stores when we're out and about?
