Ladyfinger palm sudden decline?

I’ve had this ladyfinger/rhapis palm for 2-3 years now and have never had any problems with it, and about a week ago the leaves all started dying and I’m not sure what happened!

There’s been no big changes, no new additions, genuinely nothing I can think of. I usually let the soil get fairly dry and then give it a decent soak, let it get fairly dry again, repeat. I watered it a few days before the leaves started dying but didn’t do anything different than normal. It gets decent indirect sunlight and is usually really happy. It’s in a north facing window.

Not sure now if I should prune, or try moving it outside…? (It’s currently like 80 degrees and humid where I am.) The leaves feel super dry and crunchy and new growth has turned brown.

Thanks in advance!

Okay so I’m at a point where I can throw fairly tall (by fairly tall I mean like….6-8in lol) and my pots aren’t collapsing or anything but my walls are uneven and I’m not sure what to change? I don’t know if it’s the amount of pressure I use when I pull, or speed or what. I usually collar in between pulls. I’ve been going back and straightening them out using a wooden rib but obviously I’d rather be able to actually just pull them correctly 😅I also am ending up with a pitch a lot of the time…I compress my rim consistently so the rim itself is usually even but it seems like the whole piece has a pitch, if that makes sense? Also I’m left handed so if my hand positioning looks funny, that’s why!
