Gutted to hear this place is closing down. Was a real gem on Victoria Road. Reading their instagram post there was clearly some beef with the land lord. The Hello New Brighton account have left some mean spirited comments underneath so something clearly going on. Tallulahs was something genuinely different round there and NB is poorer for its loss. Really hope they set up somewhere else with a decent land lord.
Loved the storm episode and the crossover! They spent MONEYYYYY on those episodes! So many extras, such great special effects especially for a soap. Loved it! Reminded me of Sunset Beach back in the day when they did the Shockwave storyline. My partner and I were screaming at the screen going along for the ride.
I’m a little behind but iv just watched the cotillion and Dereks death. They really hit it out the park. So well directed, acted and scored. I was heart broken as Ashley collapsed to the floor and juxtaposed with the campy fun of the Cotillion this is what soaps are about. Just wanted to share my appreciation to all involved. I want Derek back!
