[PS5] Does my liquid metal look wrong?

Hello everbody!

Been having issues with my ps5 lately where my console shuts off in the middle of sessions. I fixed it for a bit by opening my ps5 and cleaning all the way down to the heatsink which fixed the problem for a week.

Now a week has passed and I'm getting the same crashes again so i decided to take a look at my liquid metal and there's this dry looking spot. Is this bad or is that how it's supposed to look.

Any help is appreciated!

Playstation 5 Hard Crashes if I Don't Go Back to the Home Screen Every 20 Minutes

Hello everyone, I have a very specific problem with my PS5 that I can't find anyone having a similar experience to.

Basically when I play some games like Monster Hunter: Wilds, FF7 Rebirth, Dead by Daylight, where if I don't hold the ps button to go back to the home screen every 10-20 minutes~, the entire console would hard crash and I have to plug it back in to get it working.

I cracked my console open and cleaned the fan and brushed the vents on the heat sink but there wasn't a terrible amount of dust to begin with, as well as having cleared my caches and verifying licenses.

Does anyone have a similar experience or is it just me? Memory leak perhaps?
