So I had this problem for a while now that if sometimes im playing for an hour and sometimes 5 hours that my screen suddenly turns black and 10 seconds after the ps5 shuts off automatically.

My ps5 is only 3 weeks old so it would be weird to be a hardware issue.

Anybody has had the same problem?

I registered to beta program to try new features on my PS5 and I was accepted. Since then I am trying to contact any customer support agent but only a stupid chatbot replies and it tells me always that agents are not available now and we are not during operation hours whatever the time is.

I'm requesting a live agent to contact me or simply I wanna try the latest beta update and I wanna the 12-character voucher code to redeem, that's all I request

So I finally was finishing up on transferring my PS4 games to my PS5. Please note I am not tech savvy when it comes to stuff like this so be nice. I transferred it over the old fashioned way I know by connecting my PS4s external storage to my PS5, moving the games over to my console and then moving the games to my PS5 external storage. That went fine just had to do it a couple times and just a waiting game since I have a ton of games.

Now that im near the end of transferring the games like that to my PS5, I didnt even realise that I am MOVING the games and not copying. The issue with this is I gave my sister the PS4 and now im guessing she wont have any games to play cause i moved them and now i feel horrible.

Is there a way to copy the games back from my PS5 to the PS4 so she can play or have I messed this up?

As the title says, I had the trial with PS+ Premium about a year ago on my husband’s PS5 (my account) which is long since lapsed. I recently bought a physical version, installed it onto my own brand new PS5 and the description says it’s a trial and I need to buy it. I can play it but I’d like to show the proper description. Is it possible? I noticed the same issue posted 2 years ago with no fix. I mean, that was 2 years ago but it seems that it’s still an issue.

I got the delivery of my Ps5 from Dacby yesterday and the console is suddenly switching off after opening a game saying the CONSOLE IS TOO HOT.......

Tried with multiple games and same issue, the fan also is making a lot of noise.

I reported the incident to Dacby immediately.

Dont want to the fam to experience this so ll update the thread regularly.

Seit einiger Zeit liest man immer wieder über Probleme mit dem Liquid Metal bei der PS5 und PS5 Pro.

Ich selbst besitze seit knapp 1 Jahr eine Playstation 5 Pro, die durch eine interne 4TB SSD erweitert wurde.

Diese Meldungen über das Liquid Metal lässt mich natürlich nicht kalt. In der Regel sind es Meldungen von Personen, die PS5-Geräte repariert haben:

Zunächst hieß es, dass es daran liegt, dass die PS5 vertikal betrieben wird. Aktuelle Meldungen besagen, dass es sowohl bei horizontaler oder vertikaler Aufstellung der PS5 auftritt.

Wenn ich mir den Aufbau der PS5 (Pro) anschaue, dann ist doch die vertikale Aufstellung die einzig logische. Bei einer horizontalen Lage kann der Lüfter, der in diesem Moment auch horizontal liegt, die Luft nicht effizient aus dem Gehäuse blasen: Warme Luft steigt nach oben. Als Vergleich muss man sich doch einfach nur PC-Gehäuse und die Anordnung der Lüfter betrachten.

Auf der anderen Seite sehe ich solche Meldungen skeptisch; es wird ein IST-Zustand gezeigt. Es ist nicht ersichtlich:

• Wie wurde die Konsole behandelt
• Wurden Reinigungsversuche schlampig getätigt
• Wurde diese zuvor schon "vollständig" geöffnet
• etc.

Metal Liquid verhält sich ähnlich wie Quecksilber. Warum sage ich das?

Wer in einem Labor mal mit Quecksilber gearbeitet hat, kennt bestimmt das Verhalten zwischen zwei Flächen. Ich habe damit nicht gearbeitet, aber konnte an einer Laborarbeit teilnehmen:

Es ist träge und wird bei Trennung dieser beiden Flächen zwangsläufig in eine Richtung "blobben". Das lässt sich nicht verhindern.

Insofern ist die Beobachtung eines ML-Blobs auf einer Seite nichts ungewöhnliches, wenn die Platine abgehoben wird, Stichwort: Adhäsion...

My Playstation 5 slim was working perfectly fine for the past few years I've had it up until today, I turned my ps5 on in the morning and loaded up fc26, went onto my career mode and went into a game when it flashed up the temperature warning screen for a split second before shutting down completely and making 3 beeps, I tried again but with the same result, I cleaned my fan because I thought that would be the problem, it was very dusty, went back on my Playstation and it was fine for an hour before the same thing happened, the fan isn't dirty and normally if my Playstation is too hot it gives me the warning instead of just powering it off, any specific problem or fix? (I was on my ps5 yesterday and playing fc26 but never had any problems)

Okay, so basically I borrowed a game from a friend (phys copy) that Im gonna give back, and I was wondering if I were to buy another copy (cuz l liked the game a lot) will my data transfer regardless of the disc being different or I would have to start from the beginning?

If yes: 1. does the game has to be physical as well or can be digital? 2. Will I need to get the ps+ or the data would upload/sync automatically? 3. Would the game need to be from the same region? (Idk which reg is his from, so that'd be hard).

Im gonna be playing on the same console, same acc and same everything else (exept for the disk lol).

If no: should I just buy him a new one and do a switcheroo?

Obviously he managed to get sticky stuff in between the buttons and theres sticky stuff under the touch pad. How do I take it apart safely so that I can clean it?

So i was playing my ps5 today with 0 problems, everything was normal. All of a sudden when my nephew was playing, he said the internet connection cut off randomly and wasn’t connecting again. Now i’ve tried everything, forget wifi, restart router, tried connecting to my hotspot, and nothing works. It won’t connect at all. Does anyone know what the issue could be ??

I’m trying to buy the right size power supply for a digital PlayStation5.

My mom made my account years ago when I was a minor. Mt account was eligible for upgrade when I turned 18 in 2023 but I wasn’t really using my PlayStation back then. Fast forward to now I’m trying to log in and it won’t let me. PlayStation support is no help. How can I gain access to my account issue is support asks for like order numbers and verification stuff. I never got emails for my purchases and the only email I have they’re saying it’s not verifying my account.
