This is for everyone needing to see the end goal

I’ve seen several people in this sub struggling with the patience aspect; it’s hard. It’s honestly like watching paint dry if you’re looking for plants to grow but just enjoy the beauty of it all. You’re making an ecosystem, they take years to happen naturally. Just enjoy the process. 2 months apart and always looking for advice.

Help diagnosing GBR issue

My female GBR has had this spot for about 10 days now. It doesn’t really look fluffy like fungus. No other fish have any signs of a similar issue. I’ve tried dosing Fritz Maracyn, Melafix and Paraguard. I have taken the carbon out of my filters while doing applications. Nothing seems to help. She’s acting completely normal; eating normal, swimming fine and they even just bred 3 days ago. Water parameters are all good with nitrates being at 10 before a WC yesterday. I do have inverts in the tank so keep that in mind. Thanks in advance!

CO2 options

I’ve had my 29g running smoothly for about a month now and I’m currently fighting the good fight against algae and also wanting to help my plants flourish. Curious what you guys think is the best full CO2 kit on the market around 150-200$. I know I can do the classic yeast and sugar method but looking for something more “legit”. Any and all thoughts appreciated

What a difference a month makes

From hardscape to planted. It’s so exciting to watch the growth and learn more and more along the way. We are fully stocked (if I can keep my wife from buying more shrimp 😂) and just enjoying our little slice of nature.
