I’ve got an outbuilding with a roof with open 24” wide, 2x6 deep bays. About 400 square feet.

I’d like to use rigid foam board in here, but I’m soooo confused reading everything online.
Will rigid foam board work, if so, how does it need to be installed?
No ridge vent, only soffit vent on one side of the building.
