Me: I can be selfish, i run jokes into the ground. I can be needy. I won’t check the comments on this post cause they scare and confuse me- are you out interacting to interact or do you want me to reach out? I’m stubborn. I like anime and everyone knows that’s for children. I buy too many books and don’t even read them. I watch too much tv.
And yet I still make a pretty good friend! I’m willing to overlook your very obvious and glaring flaws If you can overlook mine. Well, this are the few that will give me pause:
-can’t hold their own end of the conversation. Hey I like talking about myself as much as the next narcissistic person , but I’m here to try to get to know if people and that’s hard when I get a one sentence or word reply

Cool almost 40 year old guy looking to find just as cool and interesting folks to talk to. I’m a nerd- who isn’t nowadays, so just assume I like all cool and nerdy things like reading, writing, movies, etc.
I’m looking someone who can hold their part of a conversation. Nothing sucks more than writing up a response, asking questions about the other and getting nothing in return other or one line. Ideally you’re human, have passions, and are looking for something similar.
That’s my current obsession. Oh sure, you might think it’s easy, but start breaking the components and you can see why I’m frozen with indecision. What bread should I use? Meats and cheese? Condiments? And what’s the side dish?
So tell me what your perfect sandwich is. And while you’re at it tell me about yourself. Maybe in between involved sandwich crafting talk we’ll find we are besties and will text each other, send memes, and pics of delicious sandwiches.

So yeah, like I'm sure tons of folks here, I've discovered I've need that human connection that ChatGPT just won't provide (Kidding, fuck AI).
I'm married, have far too many dogs and cats for someone who decided early on they didn't want to have children due to them being too much responsibilities.
I have an amazing mug collection- like 200 mugs, and I use them to drink coffee because that's the only way I stay alive sometimes.
