Yankee Doodle no longer went to town!

Yankee Doodle no longer went to town!

This one was completely censored from the Mandela Effect sub. Probably because it's ubiquitous and damning, and they are a gateway of control.

Yankee Doodle lyrics changed in a huge way: he no longer "went" to town: he "came" to town!!

This lyrics video shows the discrepancy, it still shows "went": https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=qYcy0Y9Hu-A

Bonus: the song also says, "cap" instead of "hat", but I've heard both variants before.

Bodyfat firmness from higher stearic acid

I was intrigued by something Brad mentioned about pork fat not being as firm as it used to. And I've heard the same from others who are used to non-american pork or remember pork from decades ago.

And I thought about how this should apply to humans too.

I've always noticed that not all bodyfat looks the same. Some people seem to have really firm and healthy looking fat. It's visually appealing, and looks tight and almost glossy under a thick skin. It doesn't fold so easily nor wrinkle or droop.

Normal pufa laden fat looks terrible by comparison. Extremely off-putting, even in young people. Wiggly, droopy, thin, lumpy and flabby. Uhg.

I'll never forget this one girl in college. She was kinda fat, but it was exceptionally high quality. You know that area between the upper arm and chest where the skin needs to crease or fold in order to contour to the armpit? Hers was just... round. I had never seen anything like it. Not a single fold or crease anywhere to be seen on her body. I was actually physically attracted to her bodyfat! I didn't even know such a feeling was possible. Healthy fat looks incredible on a woman. Pufa fat on the other hand... no thank you 🤣

So naturally as a mildly self-aware being with an ego I have wanted to achieve some of this effect in my own bodyfat. Honestly I think I can perceive this a little. Just a little. It's only been 9 months low pufa. And I haven't focused heavily on stearic acid yet.

I am interested in hearing if anyone has noticed their bodyfat composition improving in firmness over the years on low PUFA.

Adaptogenic thermogenesis, continuous vs intermittent dieting, MATADOR study (why have I never heard of this??)

There was a study done in Australia in 2019 to negate the metabolic downregulation that comes from prolonged energy restriction called the MATADOR study (Minimising Adaptive Thermogenesis And Deactivating Obesity Rebound). https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/28925405/

I'm going to butcher these numbers, as I'm writing this by memory, so bear with me. This is more or less a human-readable summary.

In a nutshell, there were 2 groups: one that did continuous dieting for 16 weeks straight, and another that did 8 rounds of 2 weeks dieting and 2 weeks maintenance. The dieting phase was eating around 70% of daily maintenance.

The intermittent group lost fat at 150% the rate of the continuous group on the weeks that they were on the diet. (something like 12kg vs 8kg) In other words, their metabolism recovered during each maintenance break which allowed for more effective fatloss during the periods of energy restriction. And at the end of the study, the adaptive thermogenesis (lowering of metabolic rate) was only half the amount as the continuous group.

But here's the kicker: at 6 months followup after the end of the study, the continuous group regained nearly ALL THE FAT they had lost. While the intermittent group kept ~90 percent of it off.

This is significant. It means not only is an intermittent diet infinitely more tolerable and less stressful, it's also far more effective in the long term. And protects your metabolism.

I immediately applied this in my personal life because after my initial 2 weeks of rapid fatloss, I noticed a definite stalling out, tiredness, and feeling of malaise and nausea during a workout. I said "not this again". I knew right away that my metabolism had downregulated substantially. It only took 3 weeks, but I knew.

So I returned to maintenance of 3000 cals a day. My workouts are much better and so far I've only gained .4lbs after nearly a week (193.8 to 194.2)

I won't really know how effective this intermittent strategy is until 3 weeks from now when I finish my next round of dieting for 2 weeks. If I once again lose ~3 pounds of fat (and 2 pounds food/water) and/or dip under 190, then this will be a major breakthrough for me moving forward. My longterm goal is 175lbs and I might be able to reach it in one long ass, intermittent stretch (5 rounds of losing 3lbs per month). Then I'm coasting at a slight surplus and gaining muscle from then on.

I think it's time to launch a class action lawsuit against DataAnnotation.tech for harvesting user data and other deceptive practices.

I've known about this company for 4 years now. Against my better judgement, I applied last week.

Lo' and behold, I "failed" the starter assessment.

Let me assure you that this is a statistical impossibility. I score 155 on IQ tests and have a high proficiency in English. You can tell just from the way I write that there is a structure and elegance to my thought process that far surpasses that of the average person. Any AI annotation company would be clamping at the bit to have me as an evaluator.

That is - IF - these companies actually value an intelligent and competent annotator. It's clear they *don't*. Just take one look at the DA subreddit. Yikes. No, it's clear that the entirety of their business relies on *data harvesting* the millions of applicants they get each year.

It's about time a class action lawsuit is filed. The amount of horror stories I've read from this company is startling. If you are thinking of applying, I strongly encourage you not to. Do NOT give them your name, location, phone number, LinkedIn profile, ID, resume, and complete psychoanalytical profile by doing their "assessments".

Trust pilot has over 20% 1 star reviews calling this company a scam and it's not without reason. Stay away!
