I worked at a poke station in the food hall(?!). I did the station in 3 days of being there, had to train a no English speaker ( English isn’t my native language either so I made very simple elaborate notes with pictures and directions to places to make it easier if I’m not around) but also do prep for the main kitchen and get yelled at for not being fast enough. Yes, ask 80lbs girl to move 70lbs of onions through a kitchen full of people on slippery oil floor or shred 150 lbs of cabbage that requires 3 people: Q holds the machine, another controls the stud and flow and pack, last pushes the damn thing. I literally have marks on my arms and collarbones from it. Make 10 bingsoo and radish kimchi at same time but adjust the recipe and onion aka run through whole store back, find shit but don’t leave station unattended when you’re the only one. Once my manager was inches from my faces yelling I’m trying to be the top and don’t let others do stuff to point I had to leave and breathe, I had two also new people watching it happen who then rushed to ask if I’m okay. Gave me three PERSONAL checks,UNSIGNED. Each time I asked for signature they’re magically not around. 2 months of unpaid. I think I deserve to be paid. No benefits, no actual breaks. Just figure it out. The back was scary; why do I need to Spider-Man to too to get what we need or freeze to find things and boxes falling everywhere
I shop there for certain vegetables or fruit, mushroom. I say hi to some kitchen staff but I avoid it because I hate dishonest people.

Just to add, the actual store people are ⭐️💛✨on my bday I came in early to give out cupcakes because they’re so kind.

Recently I got charged 6.99 for a 2.99 item though…then told me it wasn’t Swiss chard when it was, the staff didn’t know what Swiss chard looked like. Third time lady walked me over to show me kale. Ma’am I worked at vege farm and Whole Foods. I know what I’m looking for but go on. Thanks.

Says she’s up because of the amount caffeine she consumes and that she has no one to talk to. Is going to “psychiatry” and Walgreens today.

Cleaning, being loud and obnoxious dumbass she is.
