How do we all feel about the current sculpts for our models? Imo the battle line models seep pretty outdated and I'm curious what y'all think

I'll be honest, I'm getting a bit frustrated at painting red skin and can't find any references of another color on bloodthirsters. I was looking through my pile of shame and remembered I had an awesome proxy for one and now I'm at the fork in the road of:
1: do I paint *another* red skinned demon and still feel unhappy about it
or 2: do I try another color without reference or inspiration and be prepared to strip it when I'm inevitably unhappy with it.
Any help is appreciated and I'll say ahead of time: I'm really not that great a painter and I know practice makes perfect but you can only paint so many red demons
