This only happens with Plex, but occasionally when watching something, the screen will go black, and then go to a "No Signal" screensaver on my LG OLED C4 TV, but the audio continues. If I hit back on the Shield remote, it will immediately go back to the Plex title screen for that content, and if I hit play, it will work as intended. Watching MLB.tv, YouTube, or Spotify have never caused this happen.
What I've learned so far:
It's not related to content, I feel like it happens more with 4K HDR content, but it's not exclusive to that, as it's happened with 720p non-HDR content. Additionally, if you get to a spot where it blanks out, you can then re-open that file, go back, and watch that part with no issues.
I changed out my HDMI cables to HDMI 2.1 cables just in case that was an issue (I didn't think it would be, but I bought some Cable Matters cables, 2 for $15 so no biggie)
Updated my Plex Client, and Receiver (AVR-S960H) all to the the latest versions.
It feels like it happens after watching for a bit, so halfway through a movie, or after a few episodes, maybe some weird caching issue? I looked through other threads online but didn't find this issue.
Sometimes when starting content the screen goes to that "No Signal" screensaver for a second before starting playback.
