Tamper Repair [MHW Knight Tamper]

My MHW 3Bomber Knight tamper split into 2 pieces this morning. They don’t seem to publish reassembly instructions though. Does anyone know if this is repairable … only been a few months I’ve had it.

Epoxy vs Polyurea floor in basement - post flood

My basement got some water damage post heavy rains and we want to replace the wood with a more resilient material in case it happens again. Looking at either epoxy or polyurea like in our garage.

Seems like contractors push only one or the other from those I contacted. Any recommendations for which would make the most sense long term in terms of maintenance and future water resistance.

We keep it pretty dark there so not much UV risk with the epoxy.

Grind by Weight Grinder - Libra or higher end [1k-1.5k budget]

Running a Profitec Move, currently grinding with a Eureka Specialita (gonna demote it to decaf duty once the new one shows up). Wife’s actually the one pushing me to get a grind-by-weight grinder so this is a rare W for me, gotta capitalize on it.

Budget is around 1k CAD which puts the Libra 55 right in range. But I keep seeing people hype up the Eureka Atom W65 Casa and Mahlkönig E64 WS, which means going up to ~1.5k CAD instead.
Couple things I’m trying to figure out:
Is the jump from the Libra to the Atom/Mahlkönig actually noticeable in the cup, or is it more diminishing returns at that point?

If the upgrade is worth it, Atom W65 Casa or E64 WS — and why? Curious about grind speed, consistency, dosing accuracy, build quality, whatever’s swayed you one way or the other.

Would love to hear from anyone who’s used more than one of these, especially if you started with the Libra and later upgraded, or compared them side by side before buying. Trying to avoid buyer’s remorse either way.

Difference Carbon does on a Gravel Bike - Debating between Checkpoint ALR4 vs SL5

Looking to get my first trek bike and my wife is pushing for me to get one with drop handles over a flat bar. I feel more comfortable on the checkpoint vs the domane both from the seat position/geometry but especially the wider tires (willing to sacrifice speed here).

I'm debating between the ALR4 & SL5. Biggest question is how much difference does carbon make comfort wise for the ride. Sales person said it absorbs a bit more, which is something of big deal for me as one of my concerns is how much gets felt in the wrist (have sensitivity from prior injuries there)

Of course not the same game cost wise, but looking for some advice on if it's worth investing here on the diff between the two.
