How to get better/learn how to carry

Hi to whoever reads this post.

This week, the last two weeks i decided to take league a little more seriously and learn how to really play the game. Im playing only renekton, knowing that since its a champ i never played on any account i would also have to learn the matchups, learn wave state, etc.

Mobalytics https://mobalytics.gg/lol/profile/euw/darkzerok63-8779/overview

After a good start i had at some point platinum and even emerald 4 people on my team and against for like 10/15 games and all was well, but after losing a bunch i started to notice i can learn the lane by myself, but not how to deal with the game itself.

At some point, or even at the beginning, i feel like the game is already lost and that i cant do anything, impacting my next few games negatively. For example, my last game vs a jax top i had 50+ cs up at minute 10, but it didnt matter since he started rotating bot, helping an already winning enemy smolder, and by the 15 minutes i already knew/feel that it was lost and i could do anything but watch. How am i supposed to play to that?

Rn, i try to at least learn something each game, at least matchup wise, but i think that staying top and praying my bot wont fight the 2v3 was still the correct option, and i still lost the game anyway.

About ranged/mage tops and scaling.

So, ranged tops and mage tops is a thing i sadly feel is common this season. Ranged top like quiin*, vayne, teemo have the disadvantage that, if the mele juggernaut gets next to him they are likely to die, but mage tops that play is much harder.

Under the presumption that my last words are true, how do a blind pick of some sort of "early game" champs deal with them? It is really easy that the ranged top shouldn't leave a wind for the enemy laner to kill him, and an early game toplaner scales badly. In that case, should the early game top pray that the team can carry and help in tp like a frontlaner?

Thank you all for reading.

Ganks to the toplane.

I have heard that renekton is really good at setting up ganks and diving.

I rn play with at least platinum people on my last 5 to 10 games (im silver 2 rn) and my question is, when i get higher in lp, will people know more that renekton is, if im not mistaken, really good option to gank or it doesnt happen/isnt true?

Adding to that, is toplane just a non interactive lane? I feel like i am playing alone most of the games.

Jungle and toplane.

I have read a lot that pathing bot is always a good idea and that toplane is a bad idea.

If most people path bot without even interacting with toplane, why do they expect the toplane to help when they get no help?

Hi you all.

I just had a ranked game where i played jax and there was a shyvana jungle. In a fight 2v2 with the enemy top dead, the enemy shyvana used the dash (r iirc) and throws the fireball and shield.

After all that i had low live and was next to my jungle so i thought that jax e, the parry would work on anything she had left, mainly q.

Does jax parry not block the damage from her q? I just checked and she didnt have any damage over time effects outside of her e, and I wasn't standing there but maybe I'm missing something else.

Edit: thank you all, after the answers i check the replay again and made sure the shield explosion was earlier so yeah, its q cone

So, i have seen a bunch of times that support and jungle, especially supports of high elo have the most impact in games via roaming. Since those lanes have more impact on the game, i have read on reddit posts that helping your jungle is always the choice, since they have a plan for the game, etc and that it helps you win.

As a toplaner, playing only renekton, is that even true? Like, i feel my champ and playstile are far away from helping the jungle, and more about being a threat that will need 2 or more people to stop on a sideline. If that happens, there is less pressure on my teammates (or towers for me if only one champ there) and i am helping advance the game state in some way, no?

If there is another one caring, let's say mid, i can play safe and help them carry me, but I don't know about all of this playing about the random jungle that changes every game you have.

Hi, first time playing this game to improve instead of just for fun. Im playing renekton top at the moment, the only champ i play unless its banned and i go jax.

Idk if i have some fundamentally wrong with how toplane is supposed to win or when to help. Ifeel like if i dont help early on the team (even when my opponent in lane is on top with me) the game will reach a state where no matter how far ahead, or even, i go compared to the other toplaner, i wont be able to do anything.

Should i just play more putting more weight on what i lose to help my teammates when they are around the toplane? Are drakes something that i cant just do anything about? With herald and grubs renekton feels good in 2v2 but going bot to help drakes makes me lose soo much advantage and later i cant 1v1 half the toplaners.
