Should I get my supervisor a bereavement gift? (flowers, card, etc.)

We were told by our department head today that my direct supervisor's husband passed away this weekend. My supervisor and I get along great, and while we do sometimes discuss non-work topics, I wouldn't say we're close. I feel terrible for her and was hoping for the perspective of supervisors/managers about what an appropriate "gift" might be, whether a simple condolence note or something like flowers whenever she returns. Thank you!

edit: I truly appreciate the feedback and feel much more comfortable in my course of action. Our department head is planning to provide us with information regarding the service, so I'll send a simple card with a handwritten note. It's clear that the best thing I can do is to help keep work a separate space from what I can only imagine is an awful ordeal. Thank you again!

vet recommendations, details in caption

cat tax provided cuz I'm not a sicko

Hi y'all, I'm sick of overpaying for wellness exams and vaccines at a vet owned by private equity. I live in 43230 on the northeast side and am seeking affordable vet recommendations for cats. I would love to go to a cat-only vet, but thus far have had a hard time finding availability at the few I know of.

My kitties are healthy and obviously we don't need an exotic vet. I'm willing to drive if it's worth it, but my wishlist would be: low-cost exams and vaccines, not owned by private equity, nearby to 43230, and have good service; I recognize that I may need to compromise some of those for the sake of affordability. If you have an idea what an annual exam and routine vaccines costs at your vet, I would love that info. Thanks Columbros!
