Behold my bases. Love to goof around with them and had to give Imothek the highest elevation. Hoverboard yeah. Sprew and base will be replaced once based. Paint obviously wip.
I want to highlight the important bronze parts like shouldpads, heads, collars, etc. with verdigris. Tried to ink it over the first drybrush, and applied a second cote. But I am not happy. Has anyone done anything similar? Any advice?
During the first assembling of my doomsday ark, prior priming, I noticed that it should be possible to mount the doomsday cannon to the upper joint, and the „skeleton“ to the lower one. With only minor adjustments. I think this would look way meaner/coolerand fokus much more on the cannon.
Has anyone tried this yet? Is there anything i do not see? Don‘t wanna ruin the mini. (Foto for reference, skeleton not glued 😉)
I am planning to start my first real army project for 11th edition, after i finish my current 1000P necron project this month. (Necron Army was basically just to learn the different painting techniques).
The Idea is to have a „Knight“ Spacemarine Army centered around converted Outriders Squads on Horses instead of bikes, a chaptermaster on horse and a huge freeblade. + All the new 11th edition models.
I know that Black Templars would be the obvious answer, but I do not want to do them for several reasons. Like e.g. Lukas from squidmar who has already done a very similar project with templars, and I do not want to full copy.
What other Chapter could fit this Idea?
My first 1000 points in the hobby. Army is based solely on which minis where availeable in my local fleamarket app.
Goal is to have a fully painted army and see if I like the game, before I throw myself fully into the hobby for the 11 edition.
