Should I just lay Sod?

Should I just lay Sod?

Im at a bit of a loss on what to do. We just moved into a new home last fall and now that its spring I want to fix our patchy, dead lawn. Last weekend I added a bunch of soil over existing patchy grass (All the brown on the right) and added grass seed. Problem is the doggo needs the full yard to play, and by the sounds of it that could be weeks until he can go out again. Still hasnt germinated even.

Im not aiming for perfection, just want grass. So would Sod be the way to go? If so, Im thinking about just covering all the dirt I laid and try blending it with the existing grass (On the left side of the pic, needs watering since its quite yellowed). Thoughts?

This has been stressing me out, already been almost a week and I feel bad for the pup not having his yard. Also have a ton of ants everywhere now that my yard is mostly dirt, I need help lol.

Too much wheel poke?

Bought new wheels, the Vors TR4 19x8.5. While I love how they look, I am worried they poke out too much. I noticed right away when I drive through any small rocks in parking lots or whatnot I can hear pebbles tinking (tinking?) against my body.

They seem to be pretty popular wheels for this car, seen quite a few people with this exact setup on fitment industries, so id love to hear any thoughts?
