Slay the Spire is such a wonderful game (and got amazing components, too!)

I can’t believe how deluxe Slay the Spire: The Board Game feels.

I mostly play it on the Switch, but there’s just something completely different about playing the board game. I’m definitely someone who enjoys the tactile feeling of actually handling the cards and components, so this version really hits differently.

I started my first run with Ironclad. And man, deck-building really is the best. 😂 The components are also so well-made, and I especially love the art sleeves that come with the game.

So far, I’m really enjoying this physical version of Slay the Spire!

I didn’t expect this game to be this good! Pokémon in My Pocket is fantastic! My friend printed this and he is more awesome!

I actually enjoyed this re-theme even more than Zombie in My Pocket. The mechanics work really well, and I love that you get to build a party of Pokémon along the way. It makes the whole adventure feel more immersive and fun.

I ended up playing several games earlier because I just couldn’t stop. One game turned into another, and before I knew it, I’d spent a good chunk of time exploring.

Such a simple game, but surprisingly addictive. Hehe.

Thanks, Jack Lim sa solid print! 🥹💯👏🏼

Marvel champions: Spidey vs. Iron Man!

I decided to revisit the Civil War set, and this time Spidey ended up siding against Iron Man.

I really wish there was an Iron Spider character deck, like the one in Marvel Legendary. That would be so cool.

Honestly, I thought I was going to lose this one. Iron Man kept revealing attachment after attachment, and it felt like he was getting stronger every turn.

Good thing I managed my hand well and saved my damage cards for the right moments. In the end, that strategy paid off and helped me pull off the win against Iron Man.

Sharing what my faves are and my most played games especially for marvel champions, legendary marvel and ashes. Most likely I play 3-5 games a day per board game. 🙂

Just got the marvel legendary civil war to add to my legendary set aaand finally sleeved all of the cards from base until civil war. 🤭 The effort’s worth it. Now to play with this expansion! 🥹

Early morning game. A good cup of coffee plus taking on some labors. 🤭 Hercules and the 12 labors. Already done with the game but still, I want to play some more of it.

This is my first time playing this deck that uses Charm magic for Ashes Reborn. Playing against the Corpse of Viros Expert standard.

I have to say, the damage output feels a bit like a slow burn. The theme is great though and I really love the aesthetic. Pink sleeves and pink dice? That’s an instant win for me.

That said, my playstyle tends to lean more toward aggressive decks, like Arren Frostspeak. I just enjoy hitting hard and putting pressure on my opponent right away.

Still, I had fun with this deck. I might give it another shot against different Chimeras or Dragonborn. Who knows? Maybe my opinion of it will change.

Ashes is one of my top 3 solo games!

My progress so far in LOTR trick taking game: Fellowship of the ring. I am apparently stuck at chapter 9. Had a few plays then finally, I have won! Cleared goals for all characters. Can’t say that much though. Haha.

This June, I have been playing non-stop (like 3-5 times a day) between marvel champion and marvel legendary. If only there are more DC comics games like these two. I am excited for the upcoming DC legendary.

Since I have already completed marvel champions, now it’s marvel legendary’s turn.

I’ve just bought several expansions(Secret wars, SHIELD, Noir, and Venom) for Marvel Legendary, but here I am, still mostly playing with my old sets: Core Set, Dark City, and Paint the Town Red. Damn! Got lucky that I have bought that alt art box for secret wars!

I’m only a few expansions away from completing the collection too. I think I’m down to just five more expansions. Haha!

Especially Civil War, I really need that one. It’s probably the expansion I’m hunting for the most right now.

Honestly, though, even with all the new content available, the Core Set, Dark City, and Paint the Town Red still offer so much replayability. No wonder I keep going back to them.

I think I’ve also found my best hero combo so far: Wolverine (Dark City), Moon Knight, and Iron Man! They seem to beat almost every villain I throw at them. The damage output is just insane once everything starts coming together. When the deck gets rolling, they can dish out some ridiculous turns and take down villains surprisingly fast.

I am not done with the fellowship of the ring (currently at chapter 5) and yet somehow, I ended up buying the second one. Lol. I just can’t stop staring at these boxes! They’re beautiful!

Finished chapter 4 and every chapter? Amazeballs! I am in awe that for a simple tricktaking game, a campaign can be incorporated.

A satisfying solo trick-taking game, FOR NORTHWOOD!

I am glad to have this game in time for my daughter’s hospitalization and boy, I am entertained and won my very first play! It might be just luck? Hehe.

But seriously, I am having fun with trick-taking games lately.
