[Online][5e 2024][BIWEEKLY Saturday 6PM CST] Seeking 1-2 players for "Nothing Stays Buried" - gothic-adjacent fantasy, level 8 start
Hey r/lfg,
I'm looking to fill 1-2 spots in Nothing Stays Buried, an ongoing biweekly D&D 2024 campaign starting at level 8. We have 2 confirmed players (3rd pending) and want to round out to 4-5 total.
The Campaign
Gothic-adjacent fantasy set in the Forgotten Realms (Border Kingdoms region). The campaign opens with the party as seasoned travelers converging at a remote village in a forgotten frontier. Things in the world don't stay buried for long. Themes include corruption, secrecy, old powers, and the consequences of forgotten history. Tone is slow-burn investigation and atmosphere with consequential combat, not constant action.
Logistics
- System: D&D 2024 (5.5e)
- Starting level: 8
- Cadence: Biweekly
- Schedule: Length will depend on how well the group likes the campaign, but will run every other Saturday. Starting 5/23/26 at 6pm CST
- Platform: D&D Beyond Maps + Discord voice
- Cost: Free. No fees, Patreon, or paid content gates
- Voice: Required (Discord voice chat); working microphone required
- Camera: Optional
Character Creation
- Standard species and class options; mixed-species parties expected
- Multiclassing and feats per 2024 rules
- HP: fixed values (max at level 1, average + Con mod thereafter)
- Starting magic items: 1 rare + 2 uncommon + 3 potions of healing + 500gp cash
- 3rd-party content allowed case-by-case; Grim Hollow (Ghostfire Gaming) pre-approved
- New to 2024 rules? Not a problem, I can help
