Injector Issue Debugging Question
I am working on trying to fix an issue with my 95 S14. It has a stock motor and ECU, but has been refusing to start and run correctly. I have replaced a lot of parts (partly towards fixing this, partly because the old parts were bad via testing), and can confirm that the Fuel Pump and FPR are working correct, the Injectors are new OEM, the Spark Plugs are new, the engine temp sensor is new, knock sensor is new, 02 sensor is need, and the MAF is new. I have a CONSULT cable and all the values from these sensors that it provides appear to be fine.
The issue is when cranking, it will not start, and quickly seems to flood out. The injectors are showing a time open of at least 40ms per pulse (the Nisscan software maxes at 40ms) and that seems way to large from what I have read online, but I'm up front that I am learning and figuring things out, so could be reading bad sources. The plugs I have are extremely fouled up from this so I am getting new plugs today, and picked up a noid light to make sure the injectors aren't just being held open, and will be testing all of that by this weekend.
My question is, am I right in understanding that those are a massive time for the injectors to be held open per pulse? And if so, are there any suggestions on what to investigate that could be causing the issue. The other values that I think matter via the software are the water temp shows 73F, duty cycle is 6.36, Air flow is 1.28, A/F Base is 100 and the ECU is reporting no errors.
Any information or education would be appreciated.
