Hi everyone!

I do believe time has come for me to change my ride.

I ride a 2007 VT750 Shadow Spirit RC53 (injection, driveshaft). Location: Romania (I do believe it could be relevant, since stuff might differ from country to country).

I never owned a new bike.

Am looking at the 2026 1100T manual (I'm a purist lol), brand new, with some accessories directly from the dealership.

I want the T, I'm used to riding with a fairing and saddlebags and want them anyway. I'd get the heated grips, the comfort seats (both rider and pillion), the sissy/lumbar. Also the tank pads, since I wear a cut 99% of the time (now have a bib on the Shadow). I plan on the bigger windshield also.

I plan on getting wide engine crash guards (that would protect the fairing) and some rear guards to protect the cases.

Now... I'm asking you happy lot if this sounds right, if I need to take anything else into account...

I know I'm moving up (double the HP, bigger engine). But at the same time losing a bit of "classic cruiser position".
