Where to take pictures for Temple ID

Hey, I just wanted to know where/how I could take a picture for the OWLCard. Would it be a personal (selfie type) picture or a professional one? If professional, does the college provide one or would I go somewhere?

Advice on what I should do about my iPhone 13

So, a few weeks ago my beloved iPhone 13 has decided to do an Irish goodbye lol. I got my first ever iPhone 13 in 2022 as a gift and it has been with me for 4 long years. And I lowkey still have an emotional connection to it (it gave me no problems all this time). All of a sudden, the phone would restart as soon as it got low for like a couple of days until it just completely stopped working one day. I also noticed that the screen was lifting up a bit and realized that the battery has actually been swollen. It’s obviously way past due for a battery replacement. I’ve went to the Apple store just to see how much it would cost to fix it and they quoted me $350 to replace the entire rear of it. I don’t wanna spend so much money to fix and I would still need a new phone soon but an entirely new phone is a little out of my budget as well. Thankfully I backed up everything in my phone before it stopped working, but Im not entirely sure if it got everything. So just some advice on if I should just get it fixed and use it until I can save more for a newer phone, or just upgrade to a new one like a iPhone 17 Pro (even to a iPhone 15 or 16, even though they wouldn’t be new). Im still in mourning btw 😔

Second thoughts about attending Temple

So I finally got accepted to Temple for the Fall 2026 (after calling them) as a transfer and now I’m having second thoughts about them. This whole transfer process has been a little rough because like I mentioned in my last post… I applied the day of the deadline(June 30), saw that my application was in review July 10 all the way to August, and the Fall semester starts in about a couple of weeks (still haven’t picked classes yet). Now a couple things that are giving red flags to me are:

- The deadline kept extending, so the original date was (i think) June 1, extended to June 30, then extended again to July 17

- Super slow communication. When I applied to Drexel I got a decision the same week I sent the application!

- I heard that they were raising tuition rates despite cutting their staff and still purchasing businesses (after I submitted my application)

- And when I finally got a decision, they had determined me as a Non-Pa resident which makes absolutely no sense because I’ve lived here my entire life. This obviously means that I would be paying out of state tuition which is crazy because, like I said, I’ve been here all my life.

Now I don’t know if it’s even the best decision to go. I picked it because of the diversity, closeness, and (at the time) low cost but i don’t think it’s worth the stress. Especially since I’ll be going to engineering school. Thoughts are super appreciated 😔

No decision for Fall 2026

I just wanna know if anyone else got a decision for the Fall 2026 semester, specifically as a transfer student. I submitted my application June 30 (I know I should’ve done it sooner 😭) and it says it’s pending review since July 10…. it’s now August. The semester starts in a couple of weeks and I’m getting really anxious cuz I also work and haven’t even picked out my classes yet. So i just wanna know if I’m cooked basically 😭😭
