“Check front side light” warnings, but both lights work

My ’08 Boxster S consistently shows warning messages for both front side lights: “Check front left side light” and “Check front right side light.”

Both lights are functioning normally, so the warnings appear to be false.

Has anyone run into this? What typically causes it, and what’s the fix?

Status points earning - BA ticket on AA metal

I'm looking at a round-trip, 4-leg itinerary to Europe that's

  • booked on British Air
  • British Air metal outbound. sold on BA as classes E and Y
  • American Air metal return. sold on BA classes T and B
  • crediting to my Alaska Atmos account

I expect to earn 100% status points on class E, 50% on class Y

Will I earn 100% status points on both AA metal flights, or 100% on T and 50% on B?

I wanted to cancel Cox. Here's how that went.

I contacted Cox to cancel my internet service after switching providers.

What should have been a straightforward process took an HOUR.

About 20 minutes just to get verified, followed by another 40 minutes of increasingly tonedeaf retention attempts.

Has anyone else dealt with this?
