Beddgelert is one of those places that never changes. I've been visiting this North Wales village on and off for some 60 years and although it has obviously changed in some ways to accommodate the motor car it is basically still the same as always. In the context of the surrounding mountains and river it is but a blot on the landscape. A village shop, a hotel and a few houses and of course the grave of famous dog that gives the village its name.
