🚨 Beta May Soon Overtake Joby in Market Value. Archer Isn’t Far Behind…

⚡️Talk about a momentum shift.

In just 3 months, the market-cap gap between Joby and Beta has shrunk from roughly $6~7 billion at its widest to less than $1 billion today.

Archer is also closing ground, with shares up approximately 43% over the past month, compared to 5% for Joby. All of this unfolding despite Joby’s nearly decade-long head start over both Beta and Archer.

As I wrote in an earlier post, the industry is evolving. The signals are getting louder. Good to see change shaping the industry. 💯

🚨 Anduril’s $100B Valuation Talks Suggest Private Investors Are Pricing In “Thunder” Long Before Archer Investors Are

It’s no coincidence…

That a week after Anduril and Archer unveiled Thunder and Halo at Farnborough, reports came out that Anduril’s next funding round was being discussed at a massive $100 BILLION valuation - up from $61 billion just a few months ago.

My gut tells me that Anduril closes this round (or at least the first tranche of it) within the NEXT 60 DAYS. How the news of this translates to $ACHR —and by how much— is anyone’s guess. But the need for wingmen in the new autonomous warfare era may be one of the most significant developments shaping the future of defense.

When investors are willing to add nearly $40 billion in valuation in a matter of months, something tells me Thunder is going to be way bigger than most people realize.

** Not FA. Just a little common F’n sense. 😎

🚨 Prediction: Boeing Will Team With Stellantis to Scale Midnight 🔥

We’re only a day into the major announcement but I’m already thinking ahead…😎

One interesting piece of the deal that wasn’t mentioned yesterday: Boeing’s potential role in manufacturing.

There is just no scenario where I don’t see Boeing playing a role in bringing Midnight to market at scale. We’re talking about one of the most accomplished and respected aerospace manufacturers in the world, a rich history spanning 110 years.

Boeing and Stellantis bring very different and highly complementary strengths. Boeing brings aerospace engineering and aircraft manufacturing know-how. (Boeing currently delivers roughly 600 commercial aircraft a year) Stellantis brings high-volume manufacturing expertise and the workforce/processes needed to scale.

With Boeing now Archer’s largest shareholder and a seat at the table, I just can’t see them sitting on the sidelines when it comes to scaling Midnight! 👀

🚨 Reminder: ARCHER Q2 2026 Earnings Call: Monday, August 10, 2026 — 5:00 PM ET

How is Archer going to fit everything in one call? There’s so much on the plate. 🤩 Great to see N703AX and N704AX both active over the past 48 hours. Looks like we got some VTOL testing in on 704. (Flightware) Transition feels imminent.

Any updates on Halo/Thunder would be hugee. Farnborough was the unveil. Next comes the roadmap. I’ve got a feeling we may get a surprise or two here soon.

Q2 2026 —

✅ Short JOBY? Buy ARCHER, BETA, or Anyone Else! A Changing of the Guard in eVTOL is Underway…

The market rewarded Joby last year on the promise of certification and commercialization. And what happened next?

Absolute F mayhem. More than $10 billion in market capital has been erased from Joby (and arguably from the eVTOL ecosystem). That capital could have been much better spent on Archer, Beta, Horizon, Vertical, and other eVTOLs. The only ones who profited were Joby execs (insiders) who’ve been selling like mad with such “impeccable” timing.

Joby has now more federal investigations and whistleblower lawsuits than they have carrying passengers (zero). They left Farnborough looking depleted, after rehashing an old non-binding, non capital-committed partnership with an airline.

While for others, Farnborough 2026 and recent events will be a turning point. Archer announcing Thunder & Halo, Beta with MV250 Hybrid + commercial orders, Vertical with its 1st public transition, Horizon with an LOI for up to 100 X7 Hybrid. There are others as well….

The industry is transforming. The valuation gap between the major eVTOLs are narrowing while newer upstarts are beginning to emerge. Integrity, execution, and the ability to control your own destiny will take this industry to the next level. It’s good to see change coming in the industry. 💯

Could Amazon, FedEx, DHL or UPS Be Among the First Customers for Archer & Anduril’s Halo?

Jumping the gun a bit here, but the fact we’re even talking about a commercial version of a hybrid VTOL is pure gold. 🤩

The use cases for a long-range, hybrid, autonomous VTOL are endless, and cargo and logistics companies seem like an obvious fit.

Imagine ports, warehouses, or distribution hubs without direct access to a runway. Or remote locations where every shipment needs an extra leg by truck. Halo could connect these points directly. And cut costs, emissions, noise, and transit time while flying more missions without a pilot.

Companies like FedEx are constantly looking for ways to improve logistical efficiency and reduce transport emissions. Almost every country has an Amazon-like company with a massive logistics network. The opportunities are enormous.

We’ll soon be finding out what an entirely new commercial market for Archer and Halo could look like. And I couldn’t be more excited as an $ACHR shareholder. 💯

Is Archer Preparing a Defense Announcement for Farnborough 🇬🇧 (July 20~24)?

This airshow has historically been one of the aviation industry’s biggest venues for defense related announcements.

Both Archer and Anduril are active participants — and they are exclusive partners on a hybrid VTOL defense aircraft (program) with the UK being a focal point for their defense strategy.

The next update is just a matter of when, not if. Hoping it’s next week at Farnborough. 😎

🚨 Breaking: Archer Expands Manufacturing With 501,000 Sq. Ft. Morgan Hill Campus in Silicon Valley

Following its lease acquisition near Salinas Airport (former Coca-Cola plant), Archer has reportedly leased the entire 30-acre Cochrane Technology Center in Morgan Hill, CA, according to the Silicon Valley Business Journal.

The newly developed industrial complex consists of 5 buildings and will serve as a major West Coast manufacturing hub alongside its flagship production facility in Covington, GA, ahead of commercial launch.

Expecting to hear an official confirmation by Archer this week.

Build for the Mission. Test for the Mission. 💪 $ACHR

Memes aside…This pretty much defines Archer’s approach to payload, certification, and flight testing. It also highlights two very different approaches to eVTOL testing.

As flight tests continue through the second half of the year…Archer will continue to validate the aircraft it intends to fly commercially — not just a demo. Build the bridge right, get in the heavy lifting early, and everything else will follow. Can’t wait for the next update. 🔥

🚨 Joby Gives Up Control in Manufacturing. What Does This Mean For Joby’s Defense Future? Shareholders? 👀

Manufacturing is likely to become one of the most valuable parts of the business for an eVTOL after certification and/or launch. Why on earth would Joby give up 51% control to Toyota this early as a pre-revenue company? Is there something we don’t know?

As PP82 mentioned in another post, “Joby signed away their industrial independence to a foreign giant…”

https://www.reddit.com/r/BigPlaneEnergy/s/2zvjSYFhVp

I just can’t see how handing over control including the majority of Board seats of your main business does not affect how investors or any party evaluates this company.

And what does this say about Joby’s defense initiatives? Are they conceding to Archer? Will their corporate and governance structure hold them back? And I thought a provision requiring Joby to obtain “Toyota’s written consent” before entering into any Government contract was bad….

There are more questions than answers. But the lessons so far for Archer and the rest of the eVTOL industry. Choose your partners carefully. Aviation isn’t an industry where you just casually give up control of critical assets. I’m quite surprised this has gone under the radar. Governance and strategic independence matters.

🚀 Archer Continues To Attract Top Industry Talent

🚨 While An Exodus Continues At Joby, Others

One of the more interesting developments in the eVTOL sector is the number of experienced aerospace professionals choosing to join Archer from across the industry, including several Joby executives, engineers, manufacturing leaders, and policy specialists.

I first posted about this growing trend in November of last year. The list below just includes a sample of former Joby execs and employees who have since taken leadership and technical roles at Archer:

**George Kivork** – Current role: Head of State & Chief Policy at Archer. Former role: Head of State & Policy at Joby.

**Lt. General (Ret.)** Scott Howell - Current role: Leadership/Advisory at Archer. Former role: Head of Joby Defense.

Clifton Moody – Current role: Airframe Program Director for Midnight Program at Archer. Former role: Technical Program Manager at Joby

**Nahush N.** – Current role: PM (Product Manager) at Archer. Former roles: Actuators Manufacturing Lead and Powertrain Manufacturing Engineer at Joby.

**Andrew H.** – Current role: Staff Engineer, Aerodynamic Performance at Archer. Former roles: Surrogate Modeling Lead and Senior Aerodynamics Engineer within the Office of the Chief Engineer at Joby.

**Nick M.** – Current role: Sr. Manager, Equipment Design at Archer Aviation. Former roles: Manufacturing Equipment Lead and Equipment Design Engineer at Joby.

Luke G. – Current role: Powertrain Manufacturing Engineer at Archer. Former role: Manufacturing Process Contributor for the Joby S4 Electric Propulsion Unit.

**Max S**. – Current role: Staff Airframe Design Engineer at Archer. Former role: Composite Design Engineer at Joby.

Geoffrey B. - Current role: Senior Engineering Manager, Battery Management Systems, at Archer. Former role: Project Manager, Integration & Subsystem Testing, at Joby.

In addition, Dr. Limhi Somerville, previously the Head of Engineering at Vertical Aerospace joined Archer earlier this year.

Separately, another Joby executive, Didier Papadopoulos, President of Aircraft, has announced his resignation in July. No indication he is leaving for Archer, but his departure right in the middle of pre-trial phases for Joby has certainly raised questions on top of these departures.

Competition for aerospace talent is fierce making these transitions especially noteworthy. Archer continues to scale its operations, and its ability to attract seasoned aerospace professionals is becoming increasingly evident.

🚨 Austin Reaves $240 Million Game Plan?

How are the Lakers expected to compete in the playoffs with an “Attack Reaves” game plan used by OKC, Minnesota, Denver etc.?

Keeping a Luka/Reaves backcourt for another year is utterly insane. The # of times Austin gets targeted is just hard to watch. No center is going to alleviate this issue.

There are so many better ways to spend $240 million…! 💯

u/DaxPlayer — 2 months ago

Jeannie & Rob Assembled the “Worst Defensive Backcourt” in the NBA…

…and now the entire organization is paying for it with layoffs?

With playoff performers like LeBron (and Rui) possibly being asked to take pay cuts?

While the team’s biggest liability is asking for $200 million? 🤣

This feels like a badly written sitcom. Mark Walters, plz put an end to this. 🙏
