B850m riptide isn't looking for wifi
I built my first PC last week, all the hardware boots and it is showing up in the bios but after installing Windows 11 Home the system is only looking for Ethernet.
I followed the JaysTwoCent video What to do AFTER you build your PC ... Updated for 2023 but even on the initial start up there was no option for wifi.
I've tried every fix I could find online except downloading drivers to a USB because the website for the motherboard won't let you, it says it will appear the first time connecting to the Internet. The only option that appears is Ethernet and after about 4hr of trying to troubleshoot I'm pretty frustrated and thinking of just buying an Ethernet cable to start the process (keeping the PC hooked up to Ethernet isn't an option for me) I'm also worried about a potential bad windows install? Any advice would be appreciated!
