Wanting feedback on Asian suppliers.

Hello all. I have a house in the Virgin Islands and am looking to install a 10 kw 110/220v system including battery backup. Cost of systems here are 2-3 times what they cost in the states, mostly due to shipping costs and limited vendors which doesn't invite competition so prices stay high. I see systems online like Alibaba and Temu that are a fraction of the cost of systems sold here in the islands and that includes shipping. I am looking for some feedback on people who regularly buy systems from Asian suppliers and would appreciate some feedback on whether or not I would sacrificing quality or reliability. Or are there any other vendors that would be comparable savings. Any responses would be appreciated.

Long term car rental.

I will be coming down to stay with a friend for a month or more. Are there any car rental companies that specialize in that or have a special rate other than what I see online? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Buing a home in STX

Any idea once the seller accepts your offer, takes your cash deposit and it's pretty much a cash deal, how long should the closing take? We are going through a realtor, and I thought it would go pretty quick, but he is saying more than a month here on the island before I legally own it. Is that right?

Reposessed home still occupied, what to do?

Hello, a friend of mine is looking at a home for sale on St Croix that's a repossession but the owners are still living in it. I'm sure this is something that would involve legal proceedings. What all would be involved if they went ahead and bought it? Is there a reasonably priced law firm that anyone could recommend to encourage that person to move on? I would appreciate any help from this community.
