What are the worst cases you have looked after since the expansion of pharmacists’ scope of practice?
I don’t intend to start a war or hand out weapons here.
But I am curious: despite the limited functions granted to pharmacists, have you ever encountered a patient whose condition worsened, or complicated, after following a pharmacist’s advice, whether that advice was within or outside the scope?
I ask because I often hear people complain that patients are increasingly asking questions that are irrelevant to pharmacy practice over the last few years.
