Stick with Qatar Business (ORD–PHL–DOH–BOM) or switch to BA First/Business (ORD–LHR–BOM)?

Booked on a combined AA/Qatar ticket: ORD–PHL in AA domestic First, then PHL–DOH–BOM in Qatar Qsuites. The airline offered me a free change due to a minor time conflict, so now I'm weighing whether to just fix the conflict on the same routing, or switch entirely to ORD–LHR–BOM, going BA First on the transatlantic leg and BA Business onward to BOM.

A few things about my situation:

  • I have oneworld Sapphire via BA Executive Club (Silver), so lounge access isn't really the differentiator here
  • Mainly weighing Qsuites (widely regarded as one of the best business class products out there, with the double/quad suites) vs. BA First (smaller cabin, generally solid ground/onboard service, but BA's hard product has had mixed reviews lately)
  • Also thinking about total journey time, layover quality (DOH vs LHR), domestic connection quality (PHL vs LHR), and overall reliability/on-time performance

Has anyone flown both recently? Is BA First worth giving up Qsuites for, or should I just take the free change and stick with the current routing? Would love to hear from people who've done this exact kind of comparison (Gulf carrier business vs. legacy US/UK first class) on a long-haul to India.

Edit: I ended up choosing Qatar
