As a kid who read warrior cats in the 2000s, I was DESPERATE for plushes, keychains, shirts, fully illustrated main series books, a show, etc. but it seemed like there was no interest in providing these things to fans at the time. The only thing we had was the mangas and the mobile app and physical merch was nonexistent. Back then, the series was still extremely popular, so I just wonder why it took them so long to provide these things for fans. The series is over 20 years old now and it seems like we went from zero pieces of physical merchandise to HUNDREDS within only a few years. Happy to have it, but I just wonder what took so long, and why such a large volume so quickly nowadays?

I found this in a thrift store in Pennsylvania about 8 years ago. I have never seen another one surface on the internet and doing a google image search yields no results. Can anyone help? Even if it is a bootleg, I’d still like to know more about it.
