Looking for horror with similar performances to Isabelle Adjani, Inde Navarette, Jack Nicholson, etc

Whenever I find a horror movie with acting that is authentic feeling, suspenseful off of behavior alone, and versatile I get all excited. I really appreciated Inde Navarette's performance recently and am wondering if there are any (hopefully lesser known) but similarly impactful performances.

I am a horror vet and have seen and loved films like Possession, Suspiria, Jacob's Ladder, MadS, Climax, Contracted, The Substance etc. I don't care about subgenre or theme as long as it's not overly exploitative without reason (Daddy's Little Girl was cool with me, Angels Melancholia was not) as I'm really just looking for more niche impactful performances. I am a former gore junkie and have rediscovered a love for more subtle and behavior-based horror. Hoping to find some good recommendations here :)

Everyone's fav game show: bangs or no bangs

I consistently get told that the bob was my best look from friends and family, I rlly miss the convenience but to me it doesn't hit at all 😭 if it's rlly better to others tho I wouldn't mind going back to hiding the ol forehead and never having tangles
