I am a brand new Lancer GM planning to run The Tombs of Delios by Katherine Stark. In the adventure, there is one combat encounter. It's an Extraction sitrep, and the image above is the enemy forces.

But I don't understand how to actually read it. As I'm reading it, if you have 3 players they fight 5 enemies, but 4 or 5 players they fight 3 enemies instead. And it looks like slightly weaker enemies, too. Also, in the Extraction sitrep and the adventure itself, it mentions reinforcements but doesn't give any info on those reinforcements.

I haven't read any official Lancer adventures or campaigns, so I don't know if they are formatted like this or not. I don't know if anyone can help me understand this, but I'd appreciate any help I can get. Thanks.

Prepping Guilt of the Grave World for my group, and I'm a little confused about how the Scrap Rats work with their grenades. Grenades don't use an attack roll, instead they use the Class DC of the PC who throws them. But monsters don't have a Class DC, and in the Scrap Rat statblock they just list an attack modifier with no DC. Would I just add 10 to the attack modifier and use that as the DC? Because DC 17 seems a little high for the first thing the PCs fight.
