Cat has claw injury
7 y/o gray tabby has a claw injury. I cleaned it with water. He’s not limping and seems to feel fine but I can tell the area is a little sensitive. The area around the claw is a bit swollen and he doesn’t want me touching it so I can’t see what the issue actually is. I think he got it caught on something and pulled. It doesn’t look infected and there was minimal bleeding
What would warrant a vet visit in this instance? Is he good as long as he’s not in a lot of pain or infected
