I’m currently in the Army going through a security-clearance-related psychological evaluation tied to a Statement of Reasons (SOR). I was told I’m not taking a polygraph, but instead some kind of “test” that they couldn’t explain much about because apparently explaining it too much could invalidate it. He told me it’s not a polygraph but something similar where they’ll know if I’m lying or not. I have no idea what this means. Can anybody provide some insight? He said it’s protocol.

The DCSA has given me a preliminary decision that they are denying my security clearance by giving me a SOR (Statement of Reasons) I am allowed to respond to it and fight this decision but it’s not looking good. It’s over some wild shit that I did in the past. I’m just asking for advice on people that might’ve been in my shoes before. Thank you.

So I’m currently in the army and I got a Statement of Reasons and my S2 people are handling it and I plan to respond, it has to do with criminal conduct and allegiance to the United States. Am I basically fucked pretty much?

I really like the two posters behind me in this video, but I want to blur them out so they aren’t visible throughout the entire thing.
