I just got a black denim jacket from a thrift store because i thought it would be sick to make it a battle jacket. I dont know where to start, i have basic diy stuff like spikes and spray paint. I dont know what i should do with it? any personal thoughts??
Im planning to add some spikes/studs to the top around the discharge logo but im not sure if to the sides i should add more band logos (placed vertically) or just spike it the whole way through. I'd be open to any other suggestions one can think of aswell.
Just working on the layout, plus the Arch Enemy patch on the front is a place holder for a Darkthrone patch I ordered recently

I choose to only add patches of bands I have seen live. Have seen a boatload more bands but didn't buy patches, so I have some buying and sowing to do. Will post updates every now and then. Hope you guys like it!
New haul from Starside Relics came in. A bizarre cross section of patches for five different WIPs, but man does this place have a killer selection you’ll never find anywhere else.

Been working on it for a while and finally got the back to a point where I’m happy with it. Still got a few things I might add, but this is how it looks so far.
One of my favourite bands doesn't have cool backpatches yet but I really adore their Tshirts.
I thought about buying a shirt and cutting it in to a backpatch.
Are their any recommendations on how to accomplish this? Special techniques etc.
And should I buy the smallest size shirt to get a regular sized backpatch?

I already read about stitching very dens around it, but is there someone with maybe a little less workaholic solution, haha??

I recently made the decision to put festival wristbands on the side of my battle vest so I’ve saved them all but the wristband of my first ever festival is a paper one and it’ll feel wrong to not put it on (because it was my first ever festival obviously and i didn’t bought a patch, which I did with the other 3 festivals)
I know the material is pretty strong but I’m not sure if I’m able to sew it on?

Guys, I've found in my closet this old denim jacket. Do you know if it's possibile to make it bigger to fit my actual size? It's perfect with the sleeves, the only problem is the torso and shoulders
These Commando leather vests from Straight to Hell are pretty great, but they cry out for adornments. After using acrylic leather paint to accent the edges and front panel, I used an awl to punch out holes for all the pins (which are all secured with pin keepers). I sustained one puncture wound in the process, lol.
