Vegan products
Hey everyone, I've been thinking lately that one reason people don't go vegan is the cost. It's like vegan companies are making it seem expensive, creating this false idea. But honestly, if you make everything at home, it's super easy and cheap, like making your own soy, coconut, or almond milk and yogurt. The moment you try to buy stuff outside or online, though, it gets pricey.
Why can't it be sold at dairy prices? Making soy milk and yogurt is pretty cheap compared to the alternatives. Veganday and Vegandukan are selling 1 liter of milk for 150, which is double the price of A2 dairy milk. Some tofu brands sell tofu for 50 rupees, which is great, while others charge 100 or 200. I mean, it doesn't cost that much to make! I think if brands and restaurants really want people to switch to a vegan diet and offer an alternative, they should rethink their pricing. If they just want to make a profit, that's a different story.
