Just curious if anyone knows where the outer speed sensor is located on a 2003 VW Golf 2.0. I've tried to Google it and haven't had much luck. The only thing I found is that it might be located under the battery and battery tray if I remove them. Thanks!

My golf recently went into limp mode and it's coming back as a output speed sensor. The mechanic I brought it to the isn't really familiar with vws having a hard time finding out where it's located on my year and model. I did see one post where someone said you take the battery, the battery tray and Air filter housing. You can get to it but I'm just not too sure. Any help would be greatly appreciated 👍
