Just bought an X-T2! Don’t know how to use it :(
Hey y’all! Been vying to buy a Fujifilm for a couple of years now and haven’t had the financial opportunity to till recently. I just purchased an X-T2 on eBay with a shutter count of 397 for about $600. It came with a vintage SMC Takumar 1:1.8/55 lens (with the M42 to FX adapter), two 256 GB Sandisk Extreme Plus cards, and a neck strap. The camera is in good condition with a couple of paint chips to the body but that’s it. It arrived in the mail this week and I’m having trouble taking photos with it. None of the pictures I take are clear, no matter the lighting conditions. I know this is a manual lenses and that I need to do more work to achieve a good picture but I just can’t make heads or tails on what I’m doing wrong. I put the shutter speed at A, iso at A, exposure compensation to 0, metering at multi, and the drive dial to S. What am I doing wrong? Should I just save up for a new Fujifilm lens that’s automatic? Any help is much appreciated!
