I don't mean deal-breakers and things that make you wonder if someone is for you, I mean things that instantly make you leave, things you'd pull your friend out of a relationship even if she's kicking and screaming type of red flags.

So I'm from Slovenia, a small country where the only subreddits for us are... Well I posted a question about queer places and it promptly got trashed and filled with men looking for lesbian couples to watch. Levels of ick unmatched. You get the idea.
But I still want a place to connect with local queer people, so I guess I'm wondering if any of you have experience with having local or at least country specific subreddits for us? Are they active, have you met anyone there? Or is it just pointless?

I've gotten CIS men replying and filling up my DMs.
Is this crap common and if so, WHY???
I confronted one and he claimed "it just came up on his feed and he didn't notice" ? Does that actually happen if you're not entering these spaces first?
