Is there any reason I'd want to use full mechanical shutter over EFCS on my R7?

I know that using fully electronic shutter can result in rolling shutter at high burst rates. But my understanding is that this is greatly reduced when using EFCS, and still allows the camera to take relatively quiet snaps in order not to frighten wildlife.

Is there a practical reason I'd want to use the mechanical shutter in everyday shooting?

FREE ticket to the Jays game Sunday (maybe 2)

Hello everyone,

The TL;DR is free ticket for Sunday. Section 535. Possibly 2 but for now it's just one.

2nd EDIT: The first ticket has been claimed and the second ticket is going to the person who was a 'maybe'. Thank you to everyone who messaged me. I am amazed at how many people replied in 15 minutes and I'm sorry I can't answer all of you but I appreciate you!

The non-TL;DR is that I volunteer for an organization called Full Spectrum Social, which is an entirely Autistic-led social group for Autistic adults. We bought some seats for an event for our members, and we had takers for all but two of the seats.

And we have one 'maybe'.

So I am happy to transfer the ticket (sec. 535 row 13 seat 1) to the first person who messages me asking for it. And if the 'maybe' becomes a 'no' then I will offer the second ticket (sec. 535 row 13 seat 2) to the second person who messages me.

I have one favour to ask for after you get the ticket, and it's entirely optional. You can skip it and totally go to the game and that's cool.

Please go check us out at Full Spectrum Social, and if you like what we do and you have the means to do so, a small donation of $5 or $10 would be super cool. We are a registered charity and you will receive a tax receipt for your donation.
