Hey everyone, I'm setting up a patio area and want to get a TV that can handle being outside year round. Rain, sun, dust, all that stuff. What should I actually look for? Is weatherproofing as good as they claim or do they still need covers?
Any experiences with glare in bright daylight or how the picture holds up over time? Budget is around $800-1200. I'm looking at the ByteFree BF-55ODTV right now since it checks a lot of boxes (1500 nits, Dolby Vision/Atmos, Google TV, IP55). Would love real user feedback, thanks!
Looking at outdoor TVs for my covered pergola setup. It's mixed light not full direct sun all day.
I'm considering one with around 1500 nits, Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, and Google TV built in. Price is roughly $1500 range.
Has anyone actually used something like this outdoors? Curious how it handles rain, summer heat, anti-glare performance, and whether the brightness is usable in the middle of the day.
