Hello! For context, I'm about to graduate this Sept w a degree in Computer Engineering. I've been looking for jobs and I was able to go to final interviews naman. I also just finished my final interview for a data analyst position in a utility company in Ortigas. However, I just received a data engineering internship in a healthcare company in BGC. Paid internship, btw and with a chance of being absorbed in the company. I'm torn rn because career wise, if i get to be absorbed as a data engineer, it would be so much better for my career projection than being a data analyst. But I'm also thinking of the salary, I feel like I wanna get a paycheck that pays enough already.

Should I go for this internship? or just continue looking for full time jobs? 🥲

I'm a fresh graduate from a university in Manila. Originally, I'm from the province, and to be honest, I worked really hard to move out because I always felt like living there was limiting and suffocating for me.

Recently, I got an opportunity with PMFTC, which I know is a well-known company. The catch is that the role would be based in my home province since they have field operations there.

The opportunity itself seems really good, but I'm struggling with the idea of leaving Manila. Over the past few years, I've built a life here, made friends, gotten used to the pace of the city, and I genuinely love being around Makati and everything that comes with it.

For those who have worked at PMFTC or made a similar move from Manila back to the province for work, was it worth it? How's the work environment and career growth at PMFTC? Would you choose a strong opportunity in the province over staying in Manila?

Hello! I applied for a data analyst position in MERALCO and I was invited to take their Analyst Exam, I just wanna ask if someone here took the same exam as well? I just wanna know what's the coverage of the exam and what else to prepare? I was only told that it would be a batch exam so I think I'd be taking it while being on a zoom call?
