SNES game issues

My coworker mentioned getting rid of an SNES and asked if I’d be interested, of course I was and still am.

Anyways, she gave me the bundle today to go and sort through so I can give her a fair price. The console has just been sitting around for quite some time, it’s a little dirty and has definitely had some love. Console seems to boot up with no issue but that’s where the problem starts. Theres 16 different games + the gameboy adapter and a few game boy games. Out of all of them, only one is playable without sound and one boots the developer title screen and then goes black. The rest show a black screen and it dims a little.

I’ve tried cleaning the contacts with 99% iso on both the system and games, entering & ejecting game 10-20, the classic blow into the bottom. Most of the games still won’t play - which sucks because I would like to play some Mario/dk, not John Madden’s football lol.

I did notice some copper oxidization in some of the games and tried to clean the best I could. I’m guessing this is probably the stem of the issue.

Basically I need to know, what’s my next step?

I’m thinking I’ll probably have to go out and grab some electronics cleaner and give that a whirl. Next up would be electronics repair shop. Before I take that next step, any suggestions?

Curing options?

What does everyone use for curing around here?

I prefer mason jars overall but the burping has started to kill as I’ve increased yield and plant count.

I tried out grove bags and actually loved them but they had a huge downside that made me scrap them. The adhesive holding the seals to the sides of the bags are total crap. I purchased 10 QP bags a few seasons ago and half broke after the 1st season. I think I have maybe 2 left but I’m also looking at my biggest yield to date this fall…

If anybody has any suggestions please let me know, bonus points for link provided. Needs to ship to Canada.

Worst case I might just have to hit that turkey bag cure

Crème de la Chem x Northern Cheese Haze

To preface, I know this isn’t ready🤣 additionally, I’m not an auto grower. I’ve had bad luck with them in the past but I was given these freebies from someone a while back. I knew meph seeds have a very good rep and the idea of having some early harvest sounds pretty nice.

Day 61 from germination

Experimenting with synganic growing and so far I’m loving the results. Just gotta see how the smoke comes after the dry & cure.

Started in a jiffy puck on May 9th and moved outside to a 10 Gallon sometime around the 20th.

This one seems to be leaning more on the Crème de la Chem side, definitely creamy & chemmy.

I was wondering how long people typically run the CDLC cultivars? The website says both parents run 60-70 days. I’m feeling like it’ll probably end up getting pulled somewhere between 80-90.

Edit: trichomes are barely getting milky

Tribal - Neon Sunshine 14G

Lineage: Zkittlez x Falcon 9

Been enjoying the dabs a lot recently but wanted something to smoke for a lil beach day tomorrow. I was gonna grab 2 x 3.5 of this but found the 14g available so I thought why not🤷‍♂️
Ended up paying $68 all in on the half with a small discount.

The numbers for the number nerds:
- 29.8% THC / 0.0 CBD
- 2.7% terps - limonene/caryophyllene/myrcene
- Harvested: 2026/01/26
- Packaged: 2026/05/22
- Weighed in at 13.95g

I’m quite shocked how fresh the flowers remained considering it was harvested almost 6 months ago. So no real complaints there.

This is a solid batch, sticky, terpy, kinetic moon sand grind. Put somewhere between 1-1.5g in a
1 1/4 element and it burned pretty well. Flavour is very zkittlez/orange candy forward with some florals/slight funk on the back. Salt and pepper ash, a little more pepper than I’d like but not harsh at all. The joint kept me pretty couch locked for a few hours, I enjoyed a few video games and now I’m going to roll up a few for tomorrow!

Overall I’m giving this a 8. It’s above its bracket for the price range it’s in. Sure there’s little bits for improvement but imo that’s more supply chain issues and I could go on for days. My only real complaint is the container😭 why so big??? I could probably almost put a whole zip in here. I appreciate my flower being protected but damn it’s a lil overkill.

For anyone curious, plant behind the joint is Modified Animal Cookies (GMO x Animal Cookies)by Clone Collector out in Leamington, ON. Would highly recommend checking out their stuff, this thing is growing beautifully! Almost like it’s genetically modified🤣 ifykyk

Looking for recommendations on auto flower seeds. I’ve been running photos for almost a decade now, tried a couple autos once and wasn’t satisfied with the results.

They’ll be run outdoors alongside my photos and I’ve already got some Mephisto seeds I’ll be trying aswell (one of the chem de la chem crosses)

So far I’m looking at Green rose seeds - 41 ghosts or something from Weathered island.

Any recommendations appreciated!
