What stood out to you when you first started playing Altered?

when i first started playing altered, i noticed pretty quickly that some of the things i was used to from other tcgs didn't really apply in the same way here. the overall flow felt familiar in some ways, but there were still a few mechanics and decisions that took me some time to get used to. after playing more games, those differences started to make more sense and changed how i approached my turns and deck building.

if you've played other tcgs before altered, what felt the most different to you when you first started?

What’s a card or combo you’ve been enjoying lately?

i’ve been noticing that some cards or combinations can be a lot more interesting once you actually get a chance to play them. something might not stand out when you first look at it, but after using it in a few games, you start seeing situations where it works really well. i’ve had a few cards like that where my opinion changed quite a bit after actually putting them into a deck.

has there been a card or combo that surprised you after you started playing with it?

what card synergy surprised you after playing a few games?

sometimes when playing KeyForge, certain cards or combinations don't seem that useful at first, but after a few matches, you start to see how well they can work together.

have you ever had a deck with a house or card combination that you initially overlooked but ended up enjoying or finding surprisingly effective?

i'd be interested to hear about those unexpected synergies and what made them stand out during your games.

What older cards are you still using?

I’ve been going through some of the older Marvel Champions cards lately and noticed there are quite a few that still seem useful even with all the newer releases. Are there any cards from the early sets that you still regularly use? Could be a card you like for a specific hero, aspect, or just something that always seems to fit.

I’m curious what older cards have stayed in your decks over the years and what makes you keep coming back to them.

A KeyForge deck that looked terrible at first but surprised you

one of my favorite things about keyforge is opening a deck and having absolutely no idea how it’s going to play. sometimes the cards look like they have nothing to do with each other, and my first impression is usually that the deck is going to be a complete mess. then after a few games, something starts to click and the deck ends up playing way better than expected. i’ve also had the opposite happen where a deck looked promising when i first opened it, but actually playing it made me realize it was a lot more awkward than i thought.

i always find those decks more memorable than the ones that immediately make sense. what’s a deck you opened that gave you a completely different impression once you actually played it?

A Weiss Schwarz set that actually felt like the anime

one thing i really like about weiss schwarz is seeing how different series get translated into actual cards. some sets feel like they could belong to almost any series, while others have cards and effects that make you immediately think of the source material. those are usually the sets i end up enjoying the most, even if i wasn't originally interested in the deck itself. i’ve had a couple of sets where i knew the anime already, and seeing certain characters or moments represented through the card effects made the set much more interesting to me.

has a weiss schwarz set ever surprised you like that? one where the gameplay actually felt connected to the series instead of just being the characters on different cards?

What’s a Dragon Ball card you ended up liking more after playing it?

I’ve had a few cards that didn’t really stand out to me at first, but after actually using them in a deck, I started appreciating them a lot more.

Sometimes a card just feels different once you see how it works with the rest of your deck.

What makes you decide to collect a player?

I've noticed that I don't always end up collecting the players I originally expected to. Sometimes it's because I like how their cards look, sometimes because I followed them before they became well known, and sometimes I just randomly end up with a few cards and decide to keep going.

What usually makes you decide that a player is someone you actually want to collect?

What do you enjoy most about Lorcana?

I’ve been checking out different TCGs lately and Lorcana caught my attention.

For people who play regularly, what do you enjoy most about it?

Is it mainly the gameplay, collecting the cards, the artwork, or just playing with friends?
