Introducing the Dedweight Begleri.

Hey everyone, we are Dedhed Designs, and we specialize in making horror themed counterweights for the Yoyo community. We're excited to finally announce our first set of Begleri!

Our set features our most popular shape, the Dedweight, created for our competing players. The recessed area at the top of the skull fits the knot of the paracord perfectly, and creates a clean and fun looking set that really stands out amongst the rest. These sets feature a durable tough resin that you can chuck as hard as you want at the ground, and still not worry about damaging it.

Available in 3 different variants, including a Glow-in-the-dark version 😉

The Tempest shares the same profile as the titanium Tyrant and the aluminum Talent, expanding the Tyrant family into a new material while retaining the shape that players have come to know. A responsive C-size bearing and precision-machined POM body give the Tempest a smooth, controlled feel with a character all its own.

When Alchemik was founded, our focus was on titanium and other premium metals. Over time, we realized that exceptional design isn't tied to any one material. The Tempest reflects that philosophy, bringing the Tyrant platform into POM without compromising the performance or attention to detail that defines every Alchemik release.

Machined from Delrin (POM-H), one of the finest engineering plastics available, the Tempest combines impressive stiffness, strength, and wear resistance with a naturally low-friction surface. The result is a throw that feels uniquely planted in play, offering a satisfying balance between the warmth of plastic and the precision of metal.

The Tempest made its debut at the 2026 National Yo-Yo Contest, where players immediately put it through its paces. The response was overwhelmingly positive, confirming the Tempest earns its place alongside its metal brothers.

After years of being asked, we are finally excited to bring you the first 5A Astro set of Dedweights. Weighing in at approximately 10g, this double counterweight setup is an absolute blast to session with and will have you doing tricks you never thought possible. If you're familiar with this style of play, we’ve engineered these to have one of the smoothest profiles for astro play, and we reckon these will be your favorite double 5a counterweights to play!
