Velotric Bags- Battery Bag or Rack Top

Just wondering if anyones used the variety of bags offered on the Velotric website.

I ordered a Pannier bag as part of a bundle, but then I was looking at the 2 other rear-rack bags available.

Was thinking of using the rack bag as a tool-kit and general carry bag, so I'd just need room for 1 battery and some odds and ends.

Are they of comparable size/build? Any advantage over one or the other beyond build?

Velotric tempo - Axle Bolt Size, any tools?

Hello,

I just got a Velotric Tempo to replace my Radrover 6. In the change I wanted to make sure I had all the tools I needed to work on it. The starter kit included a wrench and allen keys, but I wanted to ask more specifically:

  1. What is the size of the rear axle bolt?
  2. Do I need a torque wrench to secure the wheels?
  3. Any other tools or anything I should look for? I have all the basics

Entirely in-grown beard - How to let it loose

I have had a moustache thats at least mocha-level, but my goatee/beard were always super patchy and ingrown.

Mostly its 2-3 pea sized bumps at a time, and itd take weeks for one to go away and a dozen little grey hairs emerge. The times I'd mess with it, it may bleed and even it would be multiple hairs in the area, not just 1, so I tried resisting and doing basic moisturizing to no effect.

This last year I finally had it and started doing the works:

  • Tend Skin
  • Neutrogena face wash
  • Scylic acid lotion & odorless healing lotion
  • Cremo beard balm
  • all after a lot of scratching and brushing with an awful boarshead brush

It hurt a lot at first, but as my skin peeled like a lizard, it exposed tons of little hairs that are now starting to fill out quicker than ever.

But I'm still getting the little hair-piles! Currently under my chin, and either side of my jaw connecting my goatee, I have 3 seperate groups of ingrown hair! It's still weeks at a time and driving me nuts!

I also have Excema and KP, but thats why I use so many lotions.
So has anyone else dealt with this? Am I doing too much of one or the other? Should I just be brushing until I'm just a hairy skull?

Tl:dr - How much would you value a used radrover 6+ with the following factors

  • 5k miles
  • Rusting shifter - skips from 6 to 7, might be a physical bend not derailler adjustments
  • Freewheel is starting to stick while walking
  • Battery at 4 year mark - 20 mile range but the reader/levels can be wonky
  • minor cuts and dings from contact, some rust in hard to reach places - all smaller than a thumbnail
  • New righthand brake, backup left-hand assembly
  • no integrated headlight - broke a while ago
  • Tires need replaced - tubes and wheels are solid

I'm thinking $600 for highest I could hope for, maybe $300 realistically

I've mentioned in other posts I love my Radrover ,and have no real issue with Radpower, but when I got the Radrover I was a newbie, and now I have a better idea of what I want from a bike.
Essentially I want to change because of

  • weight - Looking to drop 15 lbs of frame weight
  • Fat Tires - I'm mostly on roads not trails
  • part availability
  • local repair options

So any tips on getting this great bike to someone who wouldnt mind a little extra work to get it tip-tip again?

As above, a few years ago a shop explained to me that my fat tires (4 inch for Radrover 6+) would not be patchable due to the size of the tube.

This was in regards to multiple screws that I got in my tire. Now in my new city I've gotten some much smaller leaks from a stray shard of glass.

I currently have a teensy-leak that rides fine, but deflates over a few hours, and it always feels so wasteful to toss the entire thing away for little bits of glass.

Does a patch, slime, or whatever else people suggest hold up on fat tire tubes?

I should also get new Tires themselves soon, I've changed the rear one once in 4,000+ miles....

So any luck with Liners either? Can you reuse them or do they get replaced with the tube?
