I’ve heard back from headmaster after my appeal!

Sooo my observer failed me because she said i washed under 20 seconds and i didnt scrub fingernails into my palms. Headmaster refunded me my money and admitted and irregularity from their observer as my back was to her and she wasn’t properly watching me during this skill. She said i was under 20 seconds but i asked for timestamps!
I am going a step above them to LARA however in the meantime does anyone know anywhere i could take the skills again in Michigan? I REFUSE to go back to the same place and I’m willing to drive far. I got a 96/100 perineal care 100/100 denture care and a 100/100
Modified bed bath.

I’m ultimately happy i wrote a complaint as this will always follow that observer and I’m happy they admitted she wasn’t totally correct during evaluation, i know this is RARE for them to admit anything against an observer.

They decided to refund me.

Filed an appeal today for my skills exam.

I’m aware that most appeals don’t go in favor of the student but i would like the evaluator to face some sort of scrutiny! She was SUPER strict and i believe she was getting nervous because she was being audited and during the skill my back was turned to her. She sat across the room on a computer in a corner and remained seated. I got a 96.5/100 perennial care 100/100 denture care 100/100 modified bed bath equaling a FAIL. I performed the skill ACCURATELY! She claimed i was a little under 20 seconds & didn’t scrub finger nails in palms i have an issue with this.

All in all this is the email i sent.

The testing site was undergoing an official live audit on the date of my examination. During my handwashing evaluation, the RN Test Observer prioritized remaining within the fixed view of the iPad camera in order to comply with the audit requirements. As a result, she remained stationary while I was positioned at the sink with my back toward her.
A separate individual was physically present in the room and served as the willing participant on whom I performed my clinical skills. She was not the RN Test Observer, but she was present during the evaluation and may be able to corroborate the evaluator’s stationary position, my positioning at the sink, and the circumstances surrounding the handwashing portion of my examination.

The RN Test Observer stated that I was not within the required 20-second grace window. I am specifically requesting that the available timestamps be reviewed to objectively verify the timing of my handwashing and the basis for that determination.

I believe these details are important to consider when reviewing the observation conditions. I respectfully request that the investigator thoroughly examine the exact electronic timestamps and logs recorded for my overall exam block to verify how the 20-second handwashing determination was established under these compromised viewing conditions.Given that my individual skills demonstrate clear clinical competence and strict adherence to safety protocols, I ask that the circumstances surrounding this failing determination be carefully reviewed.
Thank you so much for your time and continued attention to this matter.

Not sure what will happen but it’s important i stand up for myself. I was also told an evaluator is suppose to follow you around the room to ensure you did everything correctly.

Am i crazy for still trying naturally?

Well I’ve had two ectopic pregnancies with an intrauterine pregnancy in between. I’ve seen a fertility specialist who didn’t see anything other than low vitamin d after i also had a couple chemicals/blighted ovum pregnancy.

My daughter is 5 and my last HSG a couple months ago was shown that my tube was blocked. My other tube was removed during my first ectopic i was absolutely devastated as i do want at least one more baby.

I’ve researched that feeling air/pain during HSG could ultimately just be a spasm. I’m preparing my husband for IVF as we know it’s expensive & looking into getting the tube corrected as my blockage (if it’s truly one) seems to be the easiest to fix (a proximal blockage) my doctor said if i do choose to continue to try naturally just stay close to her office. I really feel in my heart i want to keep trying naturally , idk if it’s the right or wrong decision. I know some say it’s dangerous but i trust my doctors & I’ve always caught my ectopics 2-3 weeks SPOT ON.

Any advice i would appreciate… please be kind
